once its value has been used up. Each card is always retained by the passenger who will be able to top up the value of
the card, as required, by using either cash
or automatic tellers conveniently located
throughout the Territory.

使用無接觸票務咭
本公司與本港其他各主要公共交通經營
者已經達成協議,引進一項通用的票務
咭,以應用於巴士、地下鐵路、九廣鐵
路及渡輪服務。該咭利用最新微型電子
科技,且較現時使用中的一般通用儲值
車票更加精密。該咭類似一般信用咭之
型狀及大小。
與現行儲值票不同,該咭於使用完畢後
不會被機器收回。乘客可以保留該咭,
並在有需要時,可以現金或利用位於全
港各區之自動出納機補-
該咭之價值。
該咭之其中一項優點是,乘客只需持該
咭於「感應器」附近經過,即可繳付車
資,而無需作任何接觸。這將可大大地
縮減使用此咭乘客之登車時間。
本公司初步僅會於過海隧道路線使用該
咭。這將會是全球最龐大之無接觸票務
咭計劃,投標合約將於一九九四年六月
批出。預期一九九五年中會開始實施該
計劃,而它將包括三百萬張咭,及五千
個處理設備。
