Dr. ANN Tse Kai, CBE, LLD, JP, Vice
Chairman of the Company, retired from
the Board on 26 November 1993 for
health reasons. Dr. Ann had been a
Director of the Company since 1969.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to
place on record our sincere appreciation
of the valuable contributions Dr. Ann
has made to the Company during his
long term of directorship.
I would also like to take this opportunity
to welcome Mr. William LOUEY Lai
Kuen, Mr. Charles LUI Chung Yuen and
Mr. John CHAN Cho Chak, CBE, LVO,
JP to the Board. Mr. William Louey and
Mr. Charles Lui were appointed as
Directors of the Company on 14 January
1993 and 17 September 1993
respectively. Mr. John Chan was
appointed as Managing Director of the
Company on 1 November 1993.
本公司副主席安子介博士因健康理由,
於一九九三年十一月二十六日退任董
事。安博士自一九六九年起出任本公司
董事。本人謹代表董事會同寅就安博士
於任職董事會之一段長期間內,為本公
司所作之寶貴貢獻致以由衷感謝。
同時,本人藉此機會歡迎雷禮權先生、
雷中元先生及陳祖澤先生加入董事會。
雷禮權先生及雷中元先生分別於一九九
三年一月十四日及九月十七日獲委任為
本公司董事。陳祖澤先生於一九九三年
十一月一日獲委任為本公司之董事長。
