appreciated, and the Directors welcome
Mr So and Mrs Lai to the Board.
On 1st January, 1988, Mr Ng Kwan Wai was appointed to the Board after Mr Ng Chiu Kwon, who had served the Board for some 22 years, resigned as director
of the Company for health reasons.
On behalf of the Directors, I take this opportunity to formally welcome
Mr Ng Kwan Wai to the Board.
The Directors and staff deeply mourned the sudden death of Mr Ng Chiu Kwon who passed away on 3rd March, 1988.
On behalf of the Directors, I would
like to place on record our sincere
appreciation for the valuable contribution
Mr Ng has made to the Company
during his long term of directorship.
APPRECIATION
Mr Wong Lam, who has served the
Company for 50 years, retired in October, 1987. Mr Wong began his career in the Company as a conductor and worked his way up through his
outstanding performance and abilities. until he became KMB's Public Relations
Manager. He held the post of Public
Relations Consultant just before his
retirement. I would like to add my
own appreciation for his long and valuable service.
Finally, I would like to express my
gratitude to staff at all levels for their
continued dedication and hard work in
providing such a high standard of
service to the travelling public.
伍超羣先生替本公司董事會服務二十二 年後,因健康理由辭退董事一職 伍均惠先生於一九八八年一月一日 獲委任加入本公司董事會。本人在此代表 各董事歡迎伍均惠先生加入本公司
董事會。
各董事及員工對伍超羣先生在
一九八八年三月三日突然逝世深感哀傷。 本人謹代表各董事衷心感謝伍先生 在悠長之董事任期內為本公司作出之 貢獻,並予以誌記。

為本公司服務達五十年之王霖先生於 一九八七年十月退休。王先生在本公司之 服務時期是以售票員一職開始,並因其
傑出表現及能力而獲不斷擢升至出任 本公司公關經理。王先生在退休前乃任本 公司公關顧問。本人對王先生為
本公司作出悠長及寶貴之服務特別 表示個人謝意。
最後,本人感謝各級員工辛勤工作及 努力為乘客提供優良服務。
