262. Notices prohibiting smoking, in English and Chinese, shall be conspicuously displayed in and about every godown.
263. No combustible article not connected with the storage of inflammable liquids shall be stored in any godown.
264. No drain outlet or sewer connexion shall be within any godown.
265. Every godown shall be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. during the period from the 1st October to the 31st March, inclusive, and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. during the period from 1st April to 30th September, inclusive.
266. Nothing shall be done to or in any godown which will diminish or tend to diminish the retaining space, and such retaining space and all walls, pumps, pipes and other works shall be maintained in good repair at all times.
267. No container or retaining space having a capacity exceeding 140 gallons shall be repaired in any manner involv- ing the use of hot rivets or other source of artificial heat until a certificate by an approved person that the container or retaining space has been thoroughly ventilated and rendered free from inflammable vapour has been produced to the Licensing Authority.
268. Every container shall be labelled with the pre- scribed label before being despatched from any godown: Provided that it shall not be necessary to label with the prescribed label any tin containing any low flash liquid or high flash liquid if a triangular red label having sides not less than one inch in length is painted or otherwise marked on or securely attached to the top of the tin.
269. Fire extinguishing apparatus shall be provided in every godown to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of the Fire Brigade.
270. The licensee of every godown shall on the request of the Chief Officer of the Fire Brigade furnish him with particulars of the quantity or quantities of Category 4.dan- gerous goods stored in the godown.
271. Application for the renewal of a licence issued in respect of any godown shall be made not less than one month prior to the expiration of the then current licence.
PART XVI.-STORAGE OF CATEGORY 4 DANGEROUS GOODS IN QUANTITIES NOT EXCEEDING 500 GALLONS.
272. In this Part,-
(a) "storage place" means any premises specified in a valid licence to store Category 4 dangerous goods having a flash point not above 150° Fahrenheit in quantities not exceed- ing in the aggregate 500 gallons.
