Restrictions: Before dutiable goods are released from Customs, a bank certificate has to be furnished by the importer proving that the necessary deposit has been made prior to despatch.
Invoice: All goods with a value in excess of 70 United States dollars or the equivalent in other currencies, must be accompanied by consular and commercial invoices duly legalized.

Customs declaration and language: Two non-adhesive forms and despatch note. Spanish or French as well as English.
Prohibitions: Letters; beer; spirits; cigarettes; cigars; certain textiles. Restrictions apply to the importation of: Arms; foodstuffs; fruit and seeds. Before parcels are released from customs a bank certificate has to be furnished by the importer proving that the necessary deposit has been made prior to despatch. Personal gifts are exempt from the advance deposit.
Import permits can only be obtained after proof has been furnished that the prior deposit for the opening of an irrevocable documentary letter of credit has been made. Any one buyer may, however, import certain classes of goods, up to a value of 25 U.S. dollars per month or the equivalent in other currencies, without exchange contract.
Invoice: All goods with a value in excess of 70 United States dollars, or the equivalent in other currencies, must be accompanied by consular and commercial invoices duly legalized.
Packing: Each article of celluloid or roll of film must be packed separately. Delivery: Parcels are not delivered to the place of address, but have to be collected by the addressees. Customs dues, warehousing charges, etc., are collected from the addressees when the parcels are handed over.
