Invoice: A consular invoice is required for each parcel, or consignment of parcels posted at the same time to one addressee, if there is a Peruvian consulate in the locality and the value of the goods is 50 or more U.S. dollars or the equivalent in other currencies. The invoice must be legalized before the despatch of the parcel, otherwise a charge equal to 25 per cent of the value of the goods is levied in Peru. In places where there is no Peruvian Consulate, the consular invoice may be dispensed with, provided that these circumstances are indicated by the sender on the commercial invoice.

Delivery: Parcels are not delivered to the place of address. Addressees are notified of the arrival of parcels and are advised to collect them from the Post Office. Delivery charges are not levied.
