Postmen are not allowed to accept from the public anything for the post.

Postal packets sent in considerable numbers should be handed over the counter at the General Post Office, Hong Kong or at Kowloon Post Office, and should not be posted in boxes.

DELIVERY

Correspondence is delivered as follows:

HONG KONG. General deliveries from the General Post Office are made at 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. daily (except Sundays); there is a single delivery on Holidays at 10.00 a.m.

ABERDEEN and STANLEY VILLAGES. There are daily deliveries from the respective local offices at 10.00 a.m. daily, including Holidays; there are no Sunday deliveries.

SHEK O. There is a daily delivery commencing at 10.00 a.m.; no delivery is made on Sundays or Holidays.

CHEUNG CHAU ISLAND. There is a daily delivery commencing at 3.00 p.m.; no delivery is made on Sundays or Holidays.

KOWLOON and the NEW TERRITORIES. General deliveries from the Kowloon Post Office covering the districts of Tsim Sha Tsui, Shum Shu Po, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon City, Yaumati, Mongkok, Lai Chi Kok and Hung Hom are made at 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. daily, except Sundays. On Holidays there is a single delivery at 10.00 a.m.

Daily deliveries (including Holidays) commencing at 10.30 a.m. are made from the Post Offices at TAIPO and UN LONG and from the agency at TSUN WAN. covering most of the New Territories. There are no deliveries on Sundays. A delivery is made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to the agency at SHATAUKOK.

All correspondence addressed to Military, Air Force and Naval establishments including H.M. Dockyard is transferred to the Army Post Office, Kowloon, in the case of Military and Air Force addressees and to the Fleet Mail Office, Hong Kong, in the case of Naval, Admiralty and Dockyard addressees.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY FOR THE RECEPTION OF CORRESPONDENCE

Such certificates are issued to enable any person to have his correspondenre delivered to his accredited representative.

The fee for each certificate is $2.00 for a year or part of a year. The certificate lapses on 31st December of the year of issue unless renewed.
