TELEGRAMS.

The Government Radio Office, which is always open for the transmission and reception of radio- telegrams, to and from ships and aircraft, is situated on the first floor, G.P.O. Building, Hong Kong. A branch office for acceptance and deliveries in Kowloon is situated in the Royal Observatory grounds (Entrance from Nathan Road).

Radiotelegrams for ships at sea and aircraft in flight are accepted subject to the Service Regulations appended to the International Telecommunication Convention of Madrid 1932.

Enquiries concerning radiotelegrams should be made at the Government Radio Telegraph Office, Hong Kong

Full particulars of charges may be obtained on application to the Radio Counter of the Government Radio Telegraph Office..

In order to facilitate delivery of radiotelegrams and to avoid delays, all code or telegraphic addresses should be registered at the Government Radio Tele- graph Office. There is no charge for registration.

METHOD OF ADDRESS.

The address of radiotelegrams to ships at sea and aircraft in flight should be as complete as possible. It must contain the following particulars:

A. SHIPS OTHER THAN H.M. SHIPS,

The address should normally contain:-

1. The name or rank of the addressee.

2.

The name of the ship.

3. The name of the wireless coast station through

which the message is to be forwarded. Example:-Stewartson Empressofasia Capeda-

guilaradio.
