"Yes we are going on with the appointment of two new

District Court judges. This is Ivo's [ie Rigby CJ's doing. G de Basto and B Liu. Neither of them would have had my support. The latter is being bribed to accept the appointment by a QC. ambition has always been to take silk in Hong Kong. Well, well!"
