The University will be well situated as far as communication is con- cerned. being sandwiched between the modern Shatin-Taipo Highway on the high level and the Kowloon- Canton Railway on the seaward side.
The site, about 13 miles from the urban area of heavily populated Kow- loon. rises in elevation from 30 feet abcre sea level to 560 feet. It is in a beautiful rural location, with high hills to the west as a backdrop.
Tolo Harbour to the East and Plover Cove across the sea to the North.
Probably no university in the world will have been built on such hilly ground and few will possess such a magnificent view.
