Separate package units are provid· ed for cooling the conference room when in use. False ceilings in halls and corridors have been provided to conceal air-conditioning supply and return air-ducting.

Floors in public areas and labora- tories are tiled with terrazzo tiles, and floors in offices with B.W. par- quet in light and dark keranji. The conference room floor is finished with Semflex vinyl tiles and the walls in teak panelling.

Coloured bush hammered plaster sections and mixed square cut lime stone and granite wall sections have been used in ornamenting the facade.

Windows throughout the building are of polished aluminium. The insulated roofs are covered with Redland cement tiles, with ceilings of "Slotac❞ board.
