The fresh water supply for the seven lower storeys will be through Government mains, while the upper seven storeys will be served from a roof tank. through a "pump and sump tank system" with stand-by units.
The flushing water supply has been obtained by sinking a double- casing well into the beach. Seawater is inducted through a submerged pipe into the well. After being strained for sea micro-organisms, it is pumped to a transit tank on the site, thence through a second-stage pumping to the roof tanks. Salt- water resistant equipment has been used throughout.
There are six lifts. one in each block for passengers and one for services.
