OYDEN Court, a towering re- sidential estate which will no doubt become a familiar landmark in postcard views and tourists" snapshots of the much-photographed Repulse Bay area. is now completed.

Rising 250 feet above sea level. the property commands. from its steep hillside site, a magnificent and quite unrivalled view of Repulse Bay.

Owners of the property are Messrs. R.H. Lobo and Stanley Ho. The total cost of construction. in- cluding site formation. was $42 million.

Work began in December. 1958 and is due to be completed next

month.

Royden Court is to be occupied by Army officers and their families. It is reserved to the ranks of captain and above. Possibly some civilian employees of the War Office may also be accommodated there.

The estate. located at 71 Island Road. R.B.L. 251. consists of three blocks of 14 storeys. A fourth block is pending.

Each block comprises a carport on the ground floor. two flats on each of the 2nd to 13th storeys. and a penthouse on the 14th storey.

Altogether there are 75 flats over carports. These first class premises are further enhanced by spacious lawn areas and an ample children's playground. There is additional
