Simplex runners are tied directly to the under side of bar joist using spacer and tie wire in the same manner as where ceilings are tied to the under side of channel iron. Space runners and proceed in same manner as for suspend- ed ceilings.
A double strand of No. 18 gauge galvanized tie wire is used for all ties.
