Architect: T. C. Yuen & Co.
A$20 million building
――
the big-
gest office project undertaken in Kowloon's history is to be erected next to the Princess Theatre in Nathan Road Tsim Sha Tsui.
The building. to be named Tung Ying, will be in the heart of the most developed and flourishing part of Kowloon Peninsula and will have three excellent frontages on Nathan, Granville and Carnarvon Roads.
It will have 17 floor levels, be 395 feet long, 85 feet wide and have a total volume of about four million cubic feet. The site occupies a site of 33,449 square feet.
Like many
new buildings in the area it will be 200 feet above P.D., a limitation imposed because of the proximity of Hong Kong's airport.
A most important feature is the decision to have the complete building
