On the south east corner, in a tower directly above the sun room on the ground floor, is a ladies' parlour with a spiral service staircase.

The dominant Spanish motif is heightened by the tower, Spanish stucco walls, Spanish roof titles, and marble work. Colourful local stones have been used to excellent effect.

Heavy teak wood panels for the ceilings, fireplaces in marble and of Spanish design, ornamental wrought ironwork, and stained and leaded glasswork do much, in the interior, to maintain the Spanish atmosphere which has been achieved in the exterior treatment.
