A new copper beneficiating plant of the Consolidated Mines, Inc. has been constructed in Mogpog, Marin- duque. The total capital invested in this project is P 16 million. The mill has a capacity of 500 tons per day of mill feed. This is the first copper mill in the Philippines designed to beneficiate oxides of copper primarily.
The beneficiating mill, power plant structures and other milling installations were constructed and installed on a turnkey basis by the General Contracting Division of AG&P.
