Black granite facing has been provided externally below the cills at ground floor level and the end walls of the building have been faced with panels of grey and grey-blue glass mosaics.
Windows, louvres and sunbreak- ers are of anodized aluminium: floor finishes comprise terrazzo and black marble in the entrance hall. woodblock flooring for the Ambas- sador's room and conference room and thermoplastic tiles for the of fices; the walls to the entrance hall have been lined with gris argenti marble. The main building is air conditioned throughout.
A very spacious entrance hall to the offices in Djakarta is broken up with the tasteful use of ultra modern, light coloured chairs contrasting with the dark, marble tiled walls.
