GOD CC TOO
The upper floor of the house con- tains one master bedroom and two guest bedrooms, all with private bath- rooms and dressing rooms, and kitchen adjacent to family living/dining areas.
On the ground floor is a large living and dining area on split levels with a panoramic view over the surrounding seascape on two sides and a quiet oriental courtyard off the dining area. Also on this floor is the main entrance lobby with guest lavatories and the main house kitchen adjacent to other auxiliary service rooms.
The lower basement consists main- ly of the changing rooms with lava- tories for the swimming pool. A main open staircase links all the floors and continues down to the lowest level for the cinema. Servants quarters are situated at the rear of the house por- tion, adjacent to the kitchens.
Except for bathrooms, the interiors were treated with nominal finishes as the decoration work has been entrust- ed by the owner to an interior design- er. Exterior finishes are mainly Glamo- rock, with different colours for the main structural members and the infill
areas.
A decorative pool surrounds the dining area, with stepping stones pro- viding access to the courtyard. A pool at the upper level is connected to the lower pool by a waterfall built with rocks excavated in the area. The design of the fall is such that water drips against projecting rocks on the face of the fall, creating delicate twinkling sounds of water rather than a mono- tone effect.
