DOOR TRIMMER Cutting Base with Motor Trims Bottom Edge
THE Ten-Four door trimmer con- sists of a cutting base close-coupled to a 1-2-amp. Black & Decker motor. The assembly can be adjusted to cut up to 21⁄2 in. from the floor at a max- imum depth of 2 in.
On doors left in situ, the integral hase plate of the Ten-Four not only gives an accurate height and depth of cut, but also provides a firm base while cutting parallel to the floor sur- face. At the same time, the high speed of the 6 in. diameter blade, which rotates at 2,500 r.p.m., leaves

SINK TOPS
Upturned Edge Design Prevents Water Seepage
MADE from 20-g. 18/8 stainless steel. Carron sink tops are claimed to be wear-resistant, stain-free, and easy to clean. The range comprises tops 18 and 21 in. deep (from front to back) and inset bowls for use with built-in kitchen fittings.
Feature of the tops is the under edge, turned upwards and inwards so that spilled water falls clear to the floor instead of down the front of the cabinet, The upstand on the 21 in. models has a reverse face for bed- ding to any kind of wall backing, and on the 18 in. a plastic seal grips both upper and lower edges. The tap ledge is set at a level below the outer perimeter, to obviate any risk
water seepage.

SANDER
Small Orbiting Diameter Gives Smooth Operation
A FEATURE of the latest Wolf Sap- phire orbital sander is its small dia- meter of orbit which, combined with
Wolf Sapphire Sander
its high speed, is said to give excep- tionally smooth operation and make the sanding sheets last longer.
to
The sander is powered by the same type of continuously-rated motor as is employed in other Sapphire equipment. This features welded commutator connections and special resin bonding of the armature wires. It is coupled direct to the sanding platen, reducing moving parts and eliminating a belt drive.
The motor is fitted with a second- ary double-sided fan that acts as a booster for the primary fan in cool- ing the motor and also cools the platen and keeps the work area clear of dust. It drives the 41⁄2 in. by 9 in. pad through a 8 in. diameter orbit at 14,000 r.p.m. running light and 13,000 r.p.m. under normal load at a power consumption of 360 w.
The machine weighs only 61⁄2 lb.. and measures 11 in. long, 41⁄2 in. wide and 9 in. high overall.
Wolf Electric Tools Ltd., Pioneer Works. Hanger Lane, London, W.5, are the makers. Agents include: Lebel (China) Ltd., Hong Kong: Far East Motors Ltd.. Singapore; and Sino- British (Siam) Ltd., Bangkok.
FLOOR TILES
Simple Hexagonal Shape Makes Attractive Floor
LATEST in the range of Douzies- Maubeuge tiles is Antique Blend, a simple hexagonal floor tile produced in various shades of red that simulate the irregularities of colour found in old wood-fired tiles. The tiles are particularly suitable for setting off an- tique furniture.
Made of matt-vitrified earthenware, about 5 mm. thick, the Antique Blend measures 53 mm. (2% in.) between flats of the hexagonal; weight is about 24 lb. per sq. ft. It has the proper- ties of glazed earthenware, being un- affected by heat, damp, dirt, grease and most chemicals. Tiles are sup- plied in factory-cemented plaques 14 sq. m. (about 2.7 sq. ft.) in area.
Les Produits Ceramiques De Mau- beuge, B.P. 80, Maubeuge (Nord). France, are the makers. They are seeking agents in South East Asia.

Measuring 28 in. x 16 in. overall, it has по overflow outlet and a grid waste replaces the more familiar standing-waste. All measurements are to the 4 in. module. Designed for flush-fitting to the wall, the Oxford has a rear upstand and includes right-handed shelf of generous proportion to accommodate
