The bottling plant is located in the most prominent section of the site, directly facing the busy traffic circle of Kwun Tong Road. It contains ample space for four of the largest type of bottling machines and has large tilted plate glass windows to al- low the general public outside to view the bottling process.
Because of the chemical nature of the ingredients, special acid resisting bricks are used in this area.
The salesmen's area and the gen- eral offices are located on the first floor of the bottling plant, separated by the accounts department and the
managerial section. Each of these two areas has a separate entrance from the ground floor.
A gallery at first floor level allows visitors a complete view of the bot- tling process without disturbing the workers on the ground floor.
Folded Plate Roof
The second floor penthouse is en- tirely devoted to recreational and cafeteria facilities. It has a concrete folded plate roof and large areas of open and covered terraces, creating a club-house like environment.
Faced with a difficult site shape.
with a lack of surrounding open space, the architects have attempted to present a distinctive building and a pleasing proportion of the various masses. The main facade stretches fully across the curving frontage along Kwun Tong Road and Lai Yip Street.
Facing materials have been chosen with a view to reducing maintenance work. These mostly comprise glazed facing tiles and ashler stones, except in the bottling show window where marble panelling is used. A soft colour scheme of light biege and white is used throughout the facade.

"FERRAMASTIC" metal casement putty is an oil- based material which thickens in its set and never goes completely hard. It reacts to temperature changes to the same degree as the glass and metal frames, expanding and contracting with the varia- tion in climatic conditions, and is thus the perfect material for glazing metal frames.
