Pile ready for driving

Reinforced concrete shells in depots.

Right - Shells are threaded on to a steel mandrel prior to driving.

Driving to set

The whole assembly is driven into the ground by mobile self-erecting machines.

Taking the set. Pile is driven to correct dynamic set, ensuring that it is driven to exact depth required for the load.

Inspection of pile

The mandrel is withdrawn and the interior can be inspected.

Completed pile

Fatigue-free core is cast in situ. Reinforcement and concrete mix can be varied to suit loading requirements.
