DOOR FURNITURE
The Apollo range of 'key-in-the- knob' door sets includes an interior- door set without lock, a bathroom or bedroom 'privacy' unit that locks on the room side, and an exterior-door lockset (illustrated) which has an out- side knob fitted with a five-pin cylin der.
Fixing the door sets involves only the drilling of two holes one 54 mm in diameter through the door and one 22 mm in diameter in the edge of the door door-mortising the edge of the door to make a latch plate, and fixing a striker plate.
Units are adjustable for door thick- nesses from 35 to 44 mm and the knobs project 70 mm from the door when installed. All the units have a satin-nickel-plate finish.
The interior-door set provides a latch for doors that do not require locking, but the privacy set can be locked by a push-button on the inside. Designed for bathrooms and bed- rooms, the privacy unit unlocks auto- matically when the room-side knob is turned and can also be unlocked by a coin, screwdriver or Yale key from the
