Increases under Other Charges Annually Recurrent reflect the continued rapid increase in the provision of resettlement accommodation. An item of $655,500 has been inserted for the cleansing of new resettlement estates by contract labour.
Under Other Charges Special Expenditure there are new items for mobile loading ramps ($45,000) and visual aid equipment ($5,000). The former are intended to speed up refuse collection from estates and the latter item is for staff training purposes.
