Of the additional posts listed above, 2 Immigration Inspectors, 2 Immigration Sub-Inspectors and 6 Immigration Assistants are required for duty at Kai Tak Airport, 5 Immigration Inspectors and 6 Immigration Assistants for the Harbour Clearance Section and 4 Immigration Inspectors for the Hong Kong and Kowloon Re-Entry Permit Offices and the new sub-office at North Point. An Immigration Inspector has also been provided to take charge of the Mobile Office Van for the New Territories. The additional post of Executive Officer is for the accounts section and the Junior Machine Operator and 4 Punch Operators for duty in connexion with the introduction of a punch card system. The remaining additional staff are required to cope with normal expansion of the department in the various offices.
