Foreign Office have received cable from Washington asking whether you wish each individual name (see para 3 above) to be referred

to you for your agreement.

FIVE

As trans-Pacific numbers will probably not be large,

suggest you leave to discretion of British Passport Control Authorities

in America and Canada.

Particular case in point is Walter Chick British subject now en route Hong Kong via Shanghai ex Vancouver 26 Oct. to establish

office of Bank Line.
