Mr. V. Farmer, Chungking representa- tive of I.C.I. who returned from China earlier this year. Both you and Major Harrald of Ministry of Economic Warfare, to whom I am copying this letter, may be interested to have this since it gives Mr. Farmer's views on the attitude of the Chinese (on the future of Hong Kong.
