for the Colonies.

Addressed to British Ambassador No. 129 repeated to

Secretary of State for the Colonies No. 44140 ? Klubben

Klekane Commissioner of Customs informs me that

Japanese Consul General has today notified him

reopening of Customs Stations on frontier under

Japanese control is required under threat thɛt

Japanese will otherwise themselves open stations in

despite of Customs integrity. This is being

reported to Inspector General.

The idea, I suppose, is to watch for expodă of war wateral from Hong Kong to China.
