Transmits extract from "Finance and Commerce" of 26th June reporting interview with Mr. Shizuo Shimada, Vice-Consul at Shanghai. It would appear from his statements that Japanese authorities have, at any rate for the time being, no intention of replacing Chinese national currency by any other.
