Bombing of Hong Kong territory by Japanese.
Mr.Day asked for particulars of any settlement or payment between the Japanese and British Governments on account of the Japanese aeroplane raid on Hong Kong territory.
Mr.Butler replied that the Japanese authorities had paid $20,000 in full settlement: the exact amount of the claims was not yet known.
Mr.Day then asked how many British subjects were wounded but Mr. Butler said that he would require notice of the question.
