ALLOCATION OF ANTI-AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENTS
FOR FEBRUARY.
Memorandum by Vice Chief of the Imperial
General Staff.
Before considering the detailed allocations for
February, it is necessary to review the production situation and its effect on the allocation of guns already made for January.
Heavy Anti-Aircraft Production.
Official forecasts issued by the Central Statistics Branch of the Ministry of Supply for January production were as follows:-
4.5"
Forecast No.425
issued on 9.12.40
Forecast No.451
issued on 9.1.41.

3.7" M. 3.7" S.

An accurate estimate of the actual deliveries for January show that these will be as under:-
9

40
65
It will thus be seen that deliveries have fallen short by 33 guns from the official forecast of December and 10 short of a forecast issued as late as 9th January, 1941.
