6. FURNITURE ETC.

Safes, map and chart presses will have to be provided.

Desks and Tables will be required in the Offices

and a reasonable scale of Mess and bedroom furniture and equipment.

Three Post Office telephones and two "Green

Line" telephones connected one to the Cabinet War Room switchboard and one to the "Paddock" switchboard, will be required.

7. LOCATION.

The section should be located within easy reach

of London and Oxford where the Central Clearing House for Topographical Intelligence is quartered, from whom the Section receive the bulk of their intelligence.

Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire are

suggested.

8. CONTACT WITH SERVICE MINISTRIES AND THE TOPOGRAPHICAL

INTELLIGENCE BUREAU IN OXFORD.

(1) One Staff Car with driver should be allotted

to enable the Section to keep in touch with Service Ministries, the Director of Combined Operations and the Clearing House for Topographical Intelligence at Oxford.

(ii) A despatch rider should visit the Section every pening to deliver and collect papers.

3. SECURITY

Provision will have to be made for security

since the Section will be dealing with documents of a highly secret nature. This should be considered as soon as a site has been selected.
