As agreed at this morning's meeting of the Chiefs of Staff Committee, I circulate herewith a note by Captain Adams, R.., on the subject of the arrangements for gas warnings for the Cabinet War Room.
I doubt whether these can be regarded as satisfactory having regard to the recent decision that the gas filters in the ventilation system of the Cabinet War Room are not, as hitherto, to be automatically put into operation when the Red Warning is given.

Sector Post 156 Room 27 Basement in Ministry of Health, Telephone Air Ministry (ABBey 3411) Ex.5248, or Ministry of Health Sector Post, Officer in Charge, Mr. Brown in Ministry of Health. This deals with the whole building of the new Public Offices and includes all inside the outer walls of this building
