My minimum requirements were based on European
situation prior to latest news from France, In view
of situation now created consider enemy may pay immediate
attention to Iceland. Therefore I consider additional
minimum forces repeated in our 107 of to-day's date
should be met immediately.

Especially important are
Six flying boats coast
defence and A.A. Guns as back door wide open. Cannot
spare anything more from here at present for either
Akureyri or Seydisfjordur. Brigadier Page from
(?Canada) agrees with the above. Am remaining at
Reykjavik myself at present but having reconnaissance
Seyðisfjordur area carried out 18th June.
