The Lord Privy Seal informed the Cabinet
Limitation of Armarents had considered the German
proposals for the prevention of war; that a
formula had been drawn up by Sir Cecil Hurst as
substitute for one of the German proposals, and
that Sir Ceoil urst's formula formed the subject
of a Report arrived at at a Meeting on the
previous afternoon by the Chiefs of Staff.

to remain behind on the conclusion of the Cabinet
Meeting to consider the Chiefs of Staff Report
