Headquarters

Wong-nei-Cheong.

1. Area. This section extends from a line drawn down the south spur of Mount Nicholson to a line drawn down the south spur of Mount Parker, and comprises the whole of the ground between these two lines produced north and south to the sea. Its length as the crow flies is about 4,000 yards.

2. Composition.-2-8-in. howitzers are in position at Wong-nei-Cheong Gap, and a battery of 6-2.95-in. Q.F. guns have also been allotted for the defence of this

section on Violet Hill.

3. Staff and Troops.-The garrison consists of—
