Movable Armament. The movable armament belonging to this Section consists of 2-8-inch howitzers, 2--7-pr. R.M.L., and 3-3-pr. Q.F. guns, and are posted as follows:-
2-8-inch howitzers at Mount Davis.
2-7-pr. R.M.L. and 3--3-pr. Q.F. guns at Sandy Bay.
Reinforcements.--This Section can quickly be reinforced from No. III Section, by Victoria Reserve, and if necessary from Kowloon Reserve; No. III Section advancing by Victoria Gap and Pokfulum, Victoria Reserve along main road to Belchers, and Kowloon Reserve by launch to Belchers Pier.
Communications.-There is telephonic communication between the different stations and Head-quarters.
Food Supply.-Supplies would be brought from Victoria either by road or by water transport from Commissariat Pier.
Dressing Station.-A dressing station will be formed in barracks, from whence the sick or wounded would be removed to the base hospital as necessary.
Additional Works.-Shelter-trenches for infantry, and epaulments on Mount Davis for movable armament.
Piquets. By night a piquet to be posted at Taihowan Bay to prevent interference with the cable house.

Area.
Headquarters
Plunkett's Gap.
The Section extends from Mountain Lodge on the west to Middle Gap, inclusive, on the east.
Garrison.-The troops comprising its garrison are distributed as follows:-
One company at the Sanatarium, at night throwing an outpost down the Aberdeen-Wanchai Road and pushing a patrol to Middle Gap, where it would meet the patrol from Wong-nei-Cheong Section.
One company and the Head-quarters of the Section at Plunkett's Gap,
furnishing an outpost for the Aberdeen-Mount Kellett Road.
The Reserve, consisting of one company British infantry and the Volunteer
Corps, quartered in Mount Austin Barracks.
Movable Armument.-There are 6-2.5-inch guns and 12 Maxims with the Volunteer Corps, distributed as follows:-
2-2.5-inch guns at Mountain Lodge, 2 Maxims at Mount Austin Barracks,
remainder in reserve at Plunkett's Gap.
2----6.6-inch howitzers at Peak, Mount Kellett, and 2 at Mount Cameron. Reinforcements.-The Section would be reinforced from the Victoria Reserve, either by the tramway or by road up Magazine Gap.
Dressing Station.-A dressing station will be available in Mount Austin Barracks. Communications.--Communication is available by telephone with all the various
stations.
Attack. The probable points of attack are up Pokfulum Valley, by the Mount Kellett-Aberdeen Road, and up the Wanchai-Aberdeen Road.
Dispositions to meet Attack.-Attack up Pokfulum :-The Volunteers with Maxims in front of Peak Hotel, under cover of a sandbag epaulment. The company from Plunkett's Gap supports the guns on Mount Kellett, and is held ready to command any of the subsidiary valleys in case enemy leaves main Pokfulum Valley.
Attack up Mount Kellett-Aberdeen Road :-Two guns from Plunkett's Gap are posted at "Hacienda" behind one another in epaulments previously constructed. The company from Sanatarium takes up a position on Mount Gough. Shelter-trenches
