15. Movable Armament Guns.-Unless otherwise ordered, you will arrange to move 4-15-prs., with filled limbers (with a complement of 50 rounds per piece, including that in the limbers), to High West and Mount Kellet. The 2-15-prs. at Mount Kellet will be handed over to the O.C. Island Section.
You will arrange with the O.C. Volunteers to place in position and find a guard for 2-5-in. howitzers with 100 rounds of ammunition at Mount Nicholson gun-shed.
The guard at High West will not require cooking pots. Cooked food can be sent out to them from Pinewood Battery.
16. Drawing Ordnance Stores.-You will arrange to draw stores from Ordnance as laid down in Table J (i), Chapter III, copies of vouchers being held by you.
17. Copy of these Orders in Fort Record Books. A copy of these instructions should be placed in the fort record books of all batteries, and should there be any local considerations which have not been dealt with herein, full instructions should be added in the fort record books to meet them.
18. R.E., R.A.M.C., and Infantry.-The following reports on arrival and during mobilization will be sent to me by R.E. :--
(1.) Arrival report.
(2.) Daily state.
You will make the necessary arrangements for the accommodation (in barracks only) of the above details.
You will arrange personally with the O.C. R.A.M.C. details all such questions as increased accommodation for latrines, time and place for sick to be inspected (war period).
You will arrange for night exercises to be carried out in conjunction with the O.C. R.E. and infantry, providing them with copies of the artillery scheme of defence of the Western Fire Command.
(ii.) War Stage.
19. Manning and Marching-in Report.--The remainder of the manning details of the 1st reliefs will parade in marching order; blankets (rolled) will be carried, and water bottles filled. They will be marched off to their respective batteries by their officers.
As soon as the command is manned, the O.C. 88th Company will furnish a marching-in report for the R. A. to the F.C.
20. S.A. A., Rations, Baggage. Before marching off each man will be issued with 20 rounds s.a.a. by the Q.M.S. on parade. The remaining 40 rounds will be sent to the various batteries and distributed as required.
Two days' rations will be carried by all ranks in haversacks, Men are allowed 20 lb., officers 60 lb. baggage.
21. Accommodation.-You will arrange for the accommodation of infantry, R.E. and R.A.M.C. (in barracks only) in accordance with the table below, and all stores will be at once drawn from Ordnance as laid down in Chapter III, Table J (i), copies of vouchers being held by you.
