Indents should admit of sufficient chloride of lime for each post, also for sufficient extra signalling gear to complete to war requirements; mosquito curtains, and extra blankets for exposed positions should be issued.
(ii) War Stage.
19. Manning and Marching in Report. The remainder of the manning details of the 1st reliefs will parade in marching order; blankets rolled will be carried, and water bottles filled. They will be marched off to their respective batteries by their officers.
As soon as the command is manned, the O.C. 83rd Co. will forward a marching-in report for the R.A. to the F.C.
20. S.A.A., Rations, Baggage. Before marching off each man will be issued with 20 rounds s.a.a. by the Q.M.S. on parade; the remaining 40 rounds will be sent to the various batteries and distributed as required. Two days' rations will be carried by all ranks in haversacks. Men are allowed 20 lb., officers 60 lb. of baggage.
21. Accommodation.-You will arrange for the accommodation of infantry, R.E. R.A.M.C., in barracks only in accordance with the table below, and all stores will be at once drawn from ordnance as laid down in Table of Mobilization Stores, Defence Scheme, copies of vouchers being held by you.

22. Daily State.You will furnish daily to the F.C. a state for all troops forming part of the Eastern Fire Command.
23. Sick Report.-You will render a report to the P.M.O. through the F.C. of any sick or wounded requiring removal to the military hospital.
24. Rations.—You will furnish daily by 9 A.M. to the Fire Commander a ration indent in bulk, commencing on the second day of mobilization. You will establish a ration sub-depôt of reserve supplies, only to be drawn upon in the event of the rations for any day failing to reach you.
25. Expenditure of Ammunition.-You will forward to the F.C. daily a statement of the expenditure of ammunition. A duplicate should be sent to the Armament Staff Officer.
26. Stand to Arms 1 hour before daybreak.—All men of the first relief R.A., and those men of the infantry and R.E. on duty, should be got under arms 1 hour before daybreak daily, and will remain so until the order to dismiss is received from head- quarters. In case of alarm at any time all the reliefs on duty will double to their places in action. The R.A. relief on duty will supply a look-out by day and be ready to man the guns at a moment's notice. It will supply 2 armed look-outs by night.
