Sub-section Commanders for all troops and followers under their command so as to reach Section Staff Officer daily twenty-four hours before required for issue, by 10 A.M. daily.
These indents will be sent in bulk by 12 noon to Officer in Charge, Supplies, Sacred Hill. The ration depôt at Sacred Hill will also hold a reserve of one week's supply, which will only be drawn on in emergencies and with approval of Section Commander.
Any withdrawals from this depôt to be made good at once by the officer or non- commissioned officer in charge.
Officers commanding units will arrange for the dispatch of rations to their men in outlying posts.
Oil, wick, and candles, &c., for two days will be taken out with them by detach- ments to their posts, including telephonists.
Further supplies will be arranged for by officers commanding units to be dispatched with rations.
Officers commanding units and departments under the heading Reserve in War Stage Distribution Tables will submit their indents for their own units, &c.
The British Infantry telephonists will draw their rations through their own immediate commanders as above detailed.
Guns of Movable Armament.
30. The normal order for moving the guns and howitzers of the movable armament into position will be as follows:-~-~-~-~-

Guns and howitzers will be moved into position by their detachments, assisted by infantry. The Officer Commanding H.K.S.B. R.G.A. will requisition on the Section Staff Officer for the infantry details required. The necessary sentries over guns will be furnished by gun detachments. Escorts where necessary for guns will be furnished by infantry posts in the vicinity. The support at Shatin Pass will be requisitioned on for escort required at Crown Point.
31. Collecting and Dressing Stations.-Collecting stations for sick and wounded will be established at :-
1. Junction of Customs Jetty and Tate's
Cairn Road
Junction of Grasscutters and Shatin
Pass Roads
3. On Kowloon Pass Road, West of Rifle
Range
4. Junction of Frontier Road and Military
Road to Eagle's Nest
For troops within the line Lau Tong, Chin-
lan-chu-Tate's Cairn, all inclusive.
For troops within the line Tate's Cairn and
Crown Point, inclusive.
For troops within the line Lion Rock, East
slopes of Beacon Hill, inclusive. For troops within the line, West slope of
Beacon Hill-Piper's Hill, inclusive.
Dressing stations will be established close to the Kowloon City Road, at Sacred Hill. The position will be distinguished by a Hospital Flag by day and by two white lamps (horizontal) by night. This dressing station will be used for troops collected at 1, 2, and 3. Sick and wounded collected at 4 will be sent to the Base Hospital, Whitfield Barracks.
32. The defensive line is further supplemented by Regimental Signalling Posts at the telephone stations. A Brigade Signalling Post of 10 men is established at the Section Commander's Post at Sacred Hill.
33. The Camp Commandant and Officer Commanding Supports will issue orders for the protection and administration of their camps.
34. On orders being received for troops in camp to will parade in field service order with great coats, water ammunition, and 2 days' emergency rations in haversacks. tents will be left standing and the camp left under a guard.
