In case of Fog.-Signal Post, Mount Gough, goes to Magazine Gap. Mount Kellet comes down 200 feet, and forms two posts about 300 yards apart. Kellet are in fog, messages will be sent from Wong-nei-cheong, viâ Whitfield Barracks and Magazine Gap.
If Violet Hill, Mount Gough, Mount
All stations will do their best to gain communication by moving down from hill-tops, &c., returning to their normal stations when the fog lifts. In the case of the Mainland Section, all stations will move down till below the fog, keeping as much as possible on the same bearing as Whitfield Barracks. On these occasions orderlies should be detailed from the nearest body of troops to carry messages to and from the stations.
