1. In accordance with Garrison Order No. double co., under the command of parade ground at o'clock (to-morrow), and proceed by route march and launch to Stonecutters, the Section of the Defence to which it has been allotted. It will embark at Kowloon Police Pier at o'clock, and disembark at Stonecutters East.
The other half of the double co., with 1 Maxim gun, under the command of will parade at the same hour and place, and proceed by route march and launch to Belchers, the headquarters of the Section of Defence to which it has been allotted. They will embark at Kowloon Police Pier at
o'clock, and disembark at West
Point Pier.

The remainder of the regiment, with 1 Maxim, will parade at the same hour and place and proceed by route march and launch to No. II Section. They will embark at Kowloon Police Pier, and will proceed by launch to Commissariat Pier and Jardine's Wharf, thence by route march to the Sanitarium and Wong-nei-Cheong Gap.
Dress Field service order, khaki, water-bottles filled, and two days' cooked rations in haversacks.
11,000 rounds of ball ammunition per Maxim gun, and 100 rounds per rifle, to be issued by the Quartermaster, who will also at once issue all mobilization equipment on regimental charge proportionately to all companies.
2. The Quartermaster will adopt the following procedure in issuing ammunition :- If sufficient ammunition is in store, including musketry practice ammunition, to complete the whole regiment and Maxim guns to the amounts detailed above, he will issue it accordingly.
If, however, sufficient ammunition is not available in store, he will first complete the pouch ammunition of the two detachments taking the field, and issue the balance, if any, to the Maxim guns, and at once indent on the Ordnance Department for the deficiency, to complete the pouch ammunition of the whole regiment, which will be issued immediately on receipt. He will also indent for the 1st and 2nd Reserve
ammunition.
4. Men's kits limited to 20-lb. per man, and officers' kits limited to 60-lb. (excluding camp equipage). Officers' mess stores, all mobilization equipment which has been issued, and Maxim guns, will be conveyed by fatigue parties from the double cos. concerned, and stacked at the Kowloon Police Pier ready for removal on arrival of the water transport, care being taken that the stores of the two detachments does not become mixed. Os.C. detachments will detail the necessary baggage guards.
The Os.C. Nos. 1 and 2 detachments and Headquarters will each detail an escort of 1 British officer, 1 n.c.o., and 6 men to attend at the Ordnance Office at the hour named in Table H (ii), Chapter III, to assist in drawing the reserve ammunition and field equipment for their detachments, and for its conveyance to section headquarters. These escorts will take charge of the coolies employed, and insure that none desert.
6. No requisitions for water transport or coolies will be required, as the Officer i/c Transport has information of the amount required.
7. All baggage and stores left behind will be stored by companies in the Quarter- master's Stores, and a guard of 1 n.co. and 6 men, which will also act as regimental quarter-guard, mounted over them.
8. All other regimental guards will be withdrawn, and will join their companies.
9. All guards on duty in the forts will be relieved by the Royal Artillery, and will immediately on relief join their companies, the R.A. launches being utilized for this
purpose.
The Quartermaster will be so good as to indent on the Officer i'e Transport, Kowloon, for the necessary transport for their move,
10. Bandsmen and all men on regimental employ will at once join their companies, the rifles and accoutrements of men sick in hospital being issued to bandsmen, under company arrangements.
