CHAPTER V.
4. The barracks will remain in charge of the units to which they are at present
allotted.
5. The scale for baggage will be 60-lb. per officer, 20-lb. per man. be ready in front of Wellington Barracks at

6. Transport will be supplied without requisition by O.C.A.S.C. for →
(a.) Removal of officers' baggage, mess stores, &c., and equipment on regimental charge from Wellington Barracks.
(b.) Removal of field equipment and ammunition drawn from Ordnance.
7. Officers R.E. will indent for such tools and materials as they find to be necessary through the Staff Officer R.E., who will arrange with O.C.A.S.C. for transport.
(iii.)—British Infantry Battalion.
1. In accordance with General Order No. of to-day's date, your half bn. will be in reserve at Murray Barracks in readiness to move to any portion of the defences.
2. Dress Field service order, khaki, water-bottles filled. Two days' rations will be carried by each soldier in his haversack, and 100 rounds of ball ammunition in his pouches.
3. The Quartermaster will at once draw from the Ordnance Department any ammunition which is required to complete the pouch ammunition, and Maxim ammunition up to 11,000 rounds per gun.
4. The Quartermaster will at once issue all mobilization equipment on regimental charge.
5. An escort of 1 n.c.o. and 6 men will be detailed to attend at the Ordnance Stores at the time notified in Table H (ii), Chapter III, to receive over mobilization equipment, stores, ammunition, &c.
6. No requisitions for coolies or transport are required, as the Officer i/e Transport has the necessary information, but he must be intimated where and when the transport is required.

All operators except those already in the exchange, or in offices which are kept open on mobilization, will report at Wellington Barracks as soon as possible to be detailed to stations, and to assist in taking out the instruments.
8. Requisitions for rations, light, and fuel will be sent in daily.
9. The trained signallers of the bn. will be placed at the disposal of the Brigade Signalling Officer.
