The demand for Newchwang has fallen off, owing, it is of the wounded from the terrible fight that has said, to trade routes being blocked by the removal

There is no improvement in the direction of either Tientsin or Hankow, and except for American goods clear- ances are not over satisfactory. Buying for Japan has been discontinued for the time being. Quite a fair amount must have been done during the interval, delivery ranging from December to April. The Yarn market has been a little more active, both for imported and Local Spinnings, heavy forward contracts for the latter being quiet a feature this week.
