Forward rates also are decidedly weak with sellers for December at Tis. 96. Docks and Wharves.—Shanghai and Hongkow Wharves have changed hands at rates for the old shares c.n.i, at Tla, 162} for December delivery and also at rates for the old and new issue, viz. Tis. 137 old and Tls. 135 new. The market is firm with buyers at these equivalents. Yang- taze Wharf and Godowns have been placed at Tls. 189 and 190 cash. S. C Farnham, Boyd & Co.-- The week opened with sales at Tls. 180 cash and 185 December, but weakened quickly and sales have been made since at 'T'is. 1764 for October, 180 and 181 December, closing with buyers for cash at.Tla. 1754, and 180 December. Sugars.-China Sugars have advanced to $252 in Hongkong. Peraka have been placed at Tls. 60. Mining.— Chinese Engineering & Mining Co. Offers are wanted for bearer scrip. Weihaiwei Golds.
