SHARE REPORTS

HONGKONG, 28th November-Business has been dull during the whole of the week under review, and with the exception of Banks and Docks, most stocks have a declining tendency.

BANKS. Hongkong and Shanghais have steadily advanced, and sales have been effected at $6371. $610, and 86424, the market closing steady at the latter inte. London quotes £63. 10s. Od. Nationals are unchanged with sellers at $27.

MARINE INSURANCES. — Unions continue in request at $460. China Traders are easier, with sellers at $59 ex the dividend of 84 per share for the year ended 30th April, 1902, paid on the 26th instant. Yangt-zes are slightly better at $132 buyers. Cantons are reported sold at $167 with further sellers.

FIRE INSURANCES.-Hougkongs hare de- clined to $345 sellers. Chinas have sold at $85 and are offering at 886.

SHIRPING.-Hongkong, Canton and Macros have sold at $373 and $371, and close with sellers at thr higher rate. Indo-Chinas have declined to $94 sellers withont tempting buyers. China and Manilas are offering at 826. Douglases have ruled erratic with sales at $41§, $41 and 8411., closing with sellers at 811. Star Ferries can be placed at $23 (old) and $13 (new). Shell Transports are quiet at £1. 158. Od. REFINERIES.--China Sugars have further de- clined to $41 sellers. Luzons continue on offer at $15.

MINING.-Punjoms are wanted at $21, and Raubs at 863. Jelebus are unchanged with sell rs at $1.

LOCKS, WHARVES & GODOWNS.-Hongkong and Whampoa Docks have improved, and sales have been effected at $210, $2123 and 8215, mar- ket closing with buyers at $213 and a few shares obtainable at $215. Hongkong and Kowlcon Wharves are easier with sales aud sellers at $891. New Amoy Docks have been negotiated ut the improved rate of $40.

LANDS, HOTELS & BUILDINGS.-Hongkong Lands hare further rec ded to $183 sellets. Kowloon Lands continue in request at $31 West Points can be placed at the improved rate of $51. Humphreys Estates have sellers at $123, after sales at the rate. Hongkong Hotels have been booked at $110 and $141, and close firm with buyers at $140. Oriente Hotels are offering at $40.

COTTON MILLS.-Hongkong Cottons have advanced to $17, with sales at the rate and further buyers. The Northern stocks are na- changed.

SUGARS.-The annual meeting of the Perak Sugar Cultivation Co. is called for the 28th current. China Sugar Refining Co. shares have declined to $98. MINING.-Chinese En- ginecring and Mining shares were sold at

Tls. 8.00 to 8.20 cash and for December. Shares are offering freely at Tls. 8.00. Docks, WHARVES AND GODOWN8.-S., C. Farnham, Boyd and Co. The cash market opened at Tls. 2171, declined to 202 and then recovered to 207). Shares were placed for November at Tls. 200, for December at 2171/205 and 2 71, for January at 215, for March at 220/215 and for April at 217). The market closes with seller at Tis. 207.50.
