COTTON MILLS. Hongkongs continue neglected and without business. The Northern Mills, quotations for which are taken from the latest Shanghai circulars, have declined con- siderably.

MISCELLANEOUS.-Green Islands have ruled steady with a fair business at $8204. Ioes have changed hands at $165 and more could proba bly be placed at that rate. Dairy Farms have changed hands and United Asbestos are wanted at quotations. China Providents have declined to $9.80 with sellers.

HONGKONG, 20th July. Freights (Coastwise) have declined. Saigon to Hongkong, no demand; to Java, a steamer has been closed at 40 cents per picul; to Philippines, 40 cents per picul. Java to Hongkong, 30 cents per picul. Coal freights are firm. Moji to this, $3.40 per ton; to Singa- pore, $3.60 per ton. Sailing vessels.-The British bark Stanfield has been sold for $10,000. The following vessels are loading for New York, American ships 8. P. Hitchcock and Sachem. No new fictures have been reported.

There are three vessels disengaged in port regis- tering 5,238 tons.
