LILLY INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP LY MEDICINE

1967-68

Since 1945, Eli Lilly and Company has sponsored an interna- tional fellowship program for the purpose of furthering better under- standing and establishing closer ties between members of the medical

profession in the United States and in other countries, and to con- tribute to postgraduate medical education.

A fellowship has been offered to a Hong Kong candidate for the year 1967-68. Intending applicants for the fellowship shall, in the first instance, notify the Secretary of the Lilly Fellowship Selec- tion Committee, 504 Pacific Highway, St. Leonards, N.S.W., Australia. On receipt of such notice, an application form will be forwarded, which must be completed and in the lands of the Secretary on or before, 28th Februaly, 1967.

The fellowship program is designed to stimulate scientific research and to help in training individuals who will take an active part in research. medical education, and public health in their respective countries around the world. To this end, the fellowships provide for a year's study in a inedical centre of the fellow's choice

in the United States of America or Canada.

LILLY INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

The following information describes the terms governing the fellowship program,

Language Requirements: All applicants must-have an acceptable certificate ́of proficiency in the Englisly fanguage to he eligible for the followship. ............Duration: The duration of the fellowship is for twelve months, plus air travel time to and from the place of study, the terms of the fellowship cannot be extended becond one year.
