RESOLVED that the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance (Public Pleasure Grounds) (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) (No. 3) Order 1998 be made under section 106 of the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.
He said (in Cantonese):--As the Chairman of the Recreation Select Committee, I rise on the motion standing in my name:
*RESOLVED that the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance (Public Pleasure Grounds) (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) (No. 3) Order 1998 be made under section 106 of the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.*
The purpose is to amend the Fourth Schedule of the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance, Cap. 132 to include six new venues viz, Aberdeen Tennis and Squash Centre, Belcher Bay Temporary Park, Stanley Waterfront Playground, UC Ap Lei Chau Complex Leisure Centre, Ho Man Tin Leisure Centre and Ho Man Tin Park; and to delete three existing public pleasure grounds viz. Yue Wan Estate Sitting-out Area, Shantung Street Sitting-out Area and Yau Tong Playground.
