With the annual pay adjustments for civil servants in the past 3 years, the existing salary scales for the Hawker Control Officer grade staff are: Assistant Hawker Control Officer: $11,880 to $16,860; Hawker Control Officer: $17,710 to $20,256; Senior Hawker Control Officer: $21,525 to $24,850; Chief Hawker Control Officer: $26,020 to $31,230; Principal Hawker Control Officer: $32,695 to $35,845.

The structure of the new Hawker Control Officer grade is divided into five ranks. The duties and functions of the first four ranks, viz.
